Today, we changed the look of the site, and if you have visited the site before you’ll notice the marked difference.
We have a new logo which we will be uploading soon, and also turning it into T-shirts and other merchandise you can buy to support the project and just look cool
We have a lot planned for this website, in terms of content so stay tuned.
Also, our sister page (www.ProjectLenity.com) is also being updated and we just updated itsĀ theme recently. It needs a couple of tweaks, still, but the major update coming is going to be content.
As soon as we’re all caught up with editing of the material we’ve shot so far, we’ll be jumping in on that.
Lots to do… thanks for stopping by and telling your friends and family about the show

Editing on Part 3 is back on!
Posted: 23rd November 2010 by Jurgen in NewsTags: 7 shades of lenity, 7sol, coming soon, new episode, new webisode, part 3, part iii, perseverance, perseverance romantic short, romantic short, sunset in mcdade, supernatural western, texas film friday, texas parkour
Hi everyone and first of all let me apologize for the extremely long delay in updating the site.
We’ve been on hiatus, working on 2 projects: a romantic short called Perseverance, and a supernatural western short called Sunset in McDade, as well as helping to put together the very first Texas Film Friday (a monthly event showcasing Texas filmmakers).
That, a couple of wedding videos, and a really short video of the brand new Lake Travis Parkour (LTPK) group, under Texas Parkour.
But, with all that out of the way, we’re back on editing Part 3 of Episode I of 7 Shades of Lenity, which, of course was shot and takes place in Austin Texas in a not-too-distant dark future.
We have also lost another editor, and are looking for someone else who can edit in Premiere, or trying to figure out a way of taking all the comments we’ve made in Premiere and export that into Final Cut Pro, in a way that it can link the media afterward — if you don’t know, Premiere CS5 has the ability to Export and Import Final Cut XML files. The problem in exporting from a PC and importing into a Mac, which was something we tried in Perseverance, is that Final Cut would not re-link the media… it was the strangest thing. I don’t know if it was because the disk was formatted as FAT32 and none of the files had the resource fork, so FCP didn’t think the .MXF files were video files.
So, if you’re a Premiere editor, have a reel, or know how to get Final Cut to re-link .MXF files without Log and Transfer (in Premiere it’s just drag and drop and it lines up the audio and video automatically for you; in the latest version of FCP I don’t know, but that was the version we had problems linking the media) give us a shout!
On another note, we’re about to release a new logo, which we’ll put on some t-shirts and other merchandise, so y’all can show your love and support!
If you’re a fan, or cast, or crew, thank you so much for your patience, we’re working on it, and we’ll have something else out real soon!

Hey everyone, we know things have been very quiet on this front, so we wanted to give you a heads up.
Val Gameiro, writer/director for 7 Shades of Lenity and President of Ideal Scene Productions has been busy for the last couple of months with the pre-production for Sunset in McDade short film by Angela Cecile Lee (Big Plume Productions), which just finished principal photography yesterday.
The footage is being sent to the editor to edit, which should buy him some time to go back and focus on Part III of Episode I of the series.
We apologize for the delay, but Val couldn’t pass up this amazing opportunity.
Rest assured, 7SoL is not forgotten, and we will have more updates and news very soon!
