Daniel Dasent has been involved in acting for 12 years. He started out doing commercials in his native country of Trinidad then landed a role in the hit Caribbean TV series entitled ‘Westwood Park’ where he played character ‘Lionel Nielsen’ for three seasons. Upon moving to the Dominican Republic in 2001, he continued to do commercials there as well which was a little more challenging as they were made in Spanish which is not his first language. Since arriving in Austin in 2007 he has completed three independent features, two seasons on a webseries, and numerous short films. Daniel continued to hone his craft by studying acting with Acting coaches David Cox, Van Brooks and Ben Taylor, and was also doing stunt training with Austin Fighting Stunts. He currently resides in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and is presently studying the Hagen Process with ActTrue/Marc Durso. In his spare time, Daniel likes to play tennis and wakeboard on the Atlantic Ocean.
Danny plays the cold-hearted and relentless Chief Crabak Aziz, who is in charge of Blackhand for all of Texas, and reporting directly to the Governor and Col. Briggs. Recently, he’s being forced to report to Dr. Helgesson under Project Lenity.
He is single-mindedly driven to bring an end to the Free Runners and anyone who opposes the system.
