Harlan, as the owner of Brave New Bookstore, plays himself, as the keeper of knowledge for the Truth Movement. He knows it all, he keeps a record of it all. (If you know Harlan, you know how accurate this casting is, and why I even have him as a character!)

People turn to him to know what happened in the world, when the media won’t tell the truth and history books have been re-written.

He collects old books and stashes them all in an underground somewhere that he refuses to tell anyone.

He has been with the Free Runners and the Resistance since before the Valentine’s Day Massacre (VDM), which brought the police state into being. He, like many others, know that the VDM was orchestrated by interested powers, into bringing about the collapse of the world as we know it. It was a False Flag operation designed to scare people into accepting the enactment of a police state “for their protection.”
