Matthew Lee Willis is currently the Manager of Team Gibbon, a Team Member of Revolution Parkour, and the Executive Director of Texas Parkour. Matthew not only studies and coaches Parkour, but also coaches gymnastics for Academy Gymnastics and privately in Austin, Texas. He has experience coaching both gymnastics and Parkour from ages 5yrs all the way to 53. In his spare time, he is both an actor and stunt artist, performing recently in film such as “Barefoot and Crazy” (Jack Ingram music video – Trail Lights TV) and “Pompeii” (Michelle Shocked Music Video – Elizabeth Reeder).
Matthew went to Schreiner University in Kerrville, TX, from 2002 – 2007, where he majored in Theatre and studied under professors such as Derek Horton. At the same time, he began his gymnastics coaching career at Stellar Gymnastics. Matthew recently had the opportunity to study Motion Capture under Garret Warren – House of Moves.
Matthew is hard-working, devoted to his passions, and of high moral character. He instills these characteristics in those he trains or coaches, and works with integrity in all he does. He embraces the Parkour Lifestyle.
Matthew plays the role of Lexan Caine, the top Free Runner, and main antagonist of Blackhand, whose story began in the movie Free Runner (unreleased).
Lexan is an ex-Blackhand agent turned renegade and freedom-fighter. He knows the ins and outs of Blackhand, where he apprenticed under Cole Hubert, his mentor turned nemesis.
